Rey Abdalá II of Jordan said that the response to Islamic State "has to be unified" and calls "third war world".
"As I said to the leaders of the Islamic and Arab world and the world in general, it is a third world war by other means. This unites Muslims, Christians and representatives of other religions in this generational struggle that we all have to be together , "the monarch said in an exclusive interview granted to Fareed Zakaria, CNN.
According to rey Abdalá II, "it is not a Western struggle" but "a struggle within Islam where all the world is united against these bandits."
In his first interview since the State Islamic publish the brutal murder video pilot Muad to Kasaesbe, King admitted that he did not see the recording . "Many of us refused to see what I think is advertising . (...) use intimidation as the main weapon , "said Abdullah II, but added that obviously could not help but see some pictures of the execution in the media.
King said that with the publication of the video, the terrorist organization seeks to intimidate the Jordanians, but believes they got "the opposite effect" . " They try always to intimidate, frighten, bring fear to the hearts of people. This is a group that works through intimidation. Are falsely trying to invent a bond with a caliphate, with our history in Islam , "said the Jordanian monarch.
"I do not know who these people are, but they definitely have no relationship with our faith. And its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (...) has nothing to do with the principles of Islam , "he said.
