It is a revolution in food technology that could bring your culinary imagination to your plate in less than a minute.

The  Genie  (Genius), similar in size and appearance to a coffee machine, can produce an unlimited variety of foods using natural ingredients capsules containing dehydrated. So either salty or sweet, snack or dessert, the device can create food craving in 30 seconds.
Developed by Israeli entrepreneurs Doron Marco Ayelet Carasso and White Company Innovation, the device uses a mobile application to operate.
"The dish can be anything, it can be a meal like chicken with rice, couscous with vegetables like or an amazing Ramen or even a chocolate souffle dessert or any other desired"  Carasso says.
"We are using only natural ingredients, we are not using preservatives or anything that people AGREGUA their meals , " he added.
The meals are made in portions of 140 grams in a recyclable container.
Pressing a button on the mobile application Genie, the device begins to mix, stir and add liquid required from pipes connected to the back of the compact machine that bakes the desired cooking or at the proper temperature plate.
The natural ingredients in capsules lyophilized and have a shelf life of one to two years.
Carasso and Marco conceived the device and modules registered patent, when they had trouble finding restaurants that would lead to his office during a session of night work.
Described the idea as a real version of "replicator" Star Trek, a device used to synthesize meals to order, aboard the legendary starship.
Although the team does not expect the  Genie replace the food, they say they will challenge the chefs to produce a good meal in a capsule or small bowl.
Israeli chefs have already begun to produce new recipes for capsules  Genie  and hope to develop product lines recognized culinary personalities and capsules for specific dietary requirements, including sugar free and gluten free.
The team says they are already working to extend the capabilities of the mobile application and hope that in the future,  Genie attend individual users.
"Eventually, Genie know your microbiome and prepare the capsule for you, for you, and you will eat better, even more tasty and healthy" , said Marco, 47.
White Innovation, a private company, hopes to enter first convenience stores and cafes and then sell the appliance to individual consumers.
Marco said  Genie  is only the first step in the development of food technology and believes that getting a meal in a pill will be available in the not too distant future.
While the target population  Genie is found mainly in Western countries, Marco and Carasso say they designed the device with the hope that it could help those countries that did not have enough food.
"In our world, we are getting fatter and we're throwing alot of food in the world, no food. So if you use Genie, can better distribute the food, you can have a shelf life much longer without conservatives, you give people a better meal " Marco said.
"We can equitably distribute food in the world. That's a very, very important goal for us , " he added.
Marco said they are also holding talks with the Israeli army, where Genie capsules could produce fresh, nutritious meals on demand for ground forces or aboard ships at sea.
In a tasting at the cafe in Ramat Hashron Louise in central Israel, the kitchen staff was pleasantly surprised with the chocolate souffle of  Genie .
"It 's really nice, it 's chocolatey, is smooth, creamy, it 'snice ... really surprising coming from there" , Tal, chef of Cafe Louise said.
Yossi Orbach, co - owner of Louise Cafe, which recently became the sole distributor of  Genie  in Israel, said that  Genie can offer owners of restaurants and cafes a way to increase the narrow profit margins obtained due to the fact that the 30 percent of the ingredients used in their kitchens go away. The meals can be prepared to order and the portion size greatly limits waste.
"Somehow there is a full menu" , Orbach said. "It gives me the option of actually what you want without any preparation , " he added.
It is expected that the  Genie  cost several hundred US dollars. The team says that the capsules have a comparable to a meal, snack or dessert price.
With a string of local distributors and sales up in Europe, Greece and the United States, Marco and Carasso say that mass production will start earlier than expected.
It seems that Star Trek replicator may not have been such a crazy idea after all.
