Prophecy of Judah Ben Samuel

The 12th century Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel predicted that the last Jubilee cycle and the Messianic End Time will start when Jerusalem “will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation” – the event which happened in 1967:

Below is Judah Ben Samuel’s exact words:

“When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees.

Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”

All of Judah Ben Samuel’s prophecies, up to the words “which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time”, were fulfilled to a tee, centuries after his death:

‘The Mamluks, who had been reigning in Jerusalem since 1250, were conquered in 1517 by the Ottoman Turks. They remained for eight jubilees (8 x 50 = 400 years), that is to say they were in Jerusalem for 400 years. Exactly 400 years later, in 1917, the Ottoman Turks were conquered by the British. The League of Nations conferred the Mandate for the Holy Land and Jerusalem to the British. Thus, from 1917, under international law, Jerusalem was no-man’s land.’

Let me repeat the ending of Judah Ben Samuel’s prophecy:

…and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”

The conquest of Jerusalem by Israelis happened during the Six Days War.  The Six Days War took place during June 5-10, 1967.  Let us see what day in the Hebrew Calendar corresponds to June 10, 1967:

June 10, 1967   =   Sivan 2, 5727

Judah Ben Samuel told that the conquest of Jerusalem would happen within the 9th Jubilee and this 9th Jubilee signifies the beginning of the Messianic age.

Jubilee Year always starts on Tishri 10, he Day of Atonement.  Let see the layout of the Hebrew months:

Now, you can clearly see that although the Six Day War happened in the beginning of the 9th Jubilee cycle, it did not happen on the very day of the start of the 9th Jubilee cycle.

The very start of the 9th Jubilee cycle happened on Tishri 10, 5727which corresponds to September 24, 1966.

Now, you are able to see when this Jubilee cycle ends:

Tishri 10, 5727 + 50 yrs = Tishri 10, 5777

Tishri 10, 5777   =   October 12, 2016

So, by October 12, 2016 (the Day of Atonement), the Messiah will arrive!  That is precisely what my calculations show:  the Messiah will arrive on October 3, 2016 which is the Feast of Trumpets!

Therefore, my calculations are in total agreement with Judah Ben Samuel’s prophecy!
