WHAT IS SOUND HEALING

what-is-sound-healing

sound-healing
First, I want to share a bit about sound. Science has proven that everything is vibrating, everything is moving. Some things just move at a slower pace and appear to be dense or solid. We can measure vibrations by their “frequency” or how frequently they vibrate. This is measured in waves or cycles per second called hertz (Hz) which is the unit for frequency. Essentially, frequency, sound, energy, vibrations are different aspects of the same principle. So this means our body is vibrating as well. The parts that are more dense (teeth, bones) have a lower frequency than the organs and even lower than the liquids in our body like blood and water. All of this shows that our bodies are really symphonies of sound, however the frequencies exist outside of the range that our ears can hear. So if everything is vibrating that also means that our thoughts and emotions must have a frequency as well. The emotional body, for example vibrates at a much higher rate than the physical body, and the mental body is at an even higher rate than the emotional. And, the spiritual body, or Soul, is vibrating at an infinite frequency! This is not theory, it has been proven by neuroscientists such as Dr. Candace Pert, Ph D. That could lead us down a whole other conversation about how our thoughts affect our bodies, but that is for another article.
So how can we use this knowledge of sound vibration when it comes to healing. Well, we can discover frequencies that our bodies vibrate at in a healthy state and listen to those frequencies to create brain wave entrainment to bring us back to health. Using Binaural beats is another way of altering brain wave frequencies to induce particular states like a dreaming or meditative state to help with sleeping or meditating. We can also do this on a spiritual level. For example, certain singing bowls are tuned to frequencies of particular chakras and can be used to balance them. This also explains why certain frequencies or sound stimulate particular emotions in us. The frequencies that are in a song or sound resonate with particular emotions and can create them within us. So in that way, we can use music to change our emotional or mental state. Also, everyone has a unique vibrational signature that can be affected greatly by the use of their own voice. There have been all kinds of studies that conclude that the single most healing instrument a person can use is their own voice! This makes sense right? That is why singing feels so good and why music and sound are such important parts of almost every spiritual practice or religion.
There are all kinds of different vocal exercises for moving energy through the human body (toning) that can be used with different intentions to create optimal health. We naturally do this all the time through sighs, screams, laughing, crying, wailing, etc. These natural, intuitive sounds actually prevent atrophy in the body! We can take it to the next level by making sound with intention to support us in so many ways including relieving stress, inducing meditative states, clearing or balancing our chakras, building our immune system, regenerating energy, reducing body pain, taking back our voice/power, building confidence, stabilizing our emotions, building spiritual awareness, and releasing blockages in our energetic body.

The field of sound therapy or sound healing is vast. The easiest way to get started is to use your own voice. My favorite way of doing this is through over-toning (see videos on website), but there are many ways that are super easy and very effective. I love working with breath and sound because they are given to all of us at birth. We don’t need anything outside of ourselves. We can learn simple techniques that we can do at any time, any where, without paying anything…that is empowering!!!
A basic exercise to get started: Start your day with a few minutes of humming with your eyes closed. Become present and notice where you can feel your body vibrating with the different pitches that you make. Visualize sending the sound into the areas of your body that hold tension or pain. Then open your mouth and continue to make sound, experimenting with different vowel sounds. Just stay present and feel into your body to notice how it affects you.
Reach out to me if you have any questions or want to learn more. Check events page for upcoming classes. I do private one on ones if you are interested in learning sound practices to support you in your daily life

lethal doses: how much coffee, beer, salt or water needed to kill a person?

Already said the alchemist and Swiss physician  Paracelsus :

Everything is poison, nothing is poison. Only the dose makes the poison.

That also applies to substances that are harmless in normal doses, but in very high quantities can kill a person what point how much a completely safe food becomes a lethal poison?

The lethal dose of a substance depends on many factors. It depends on its concentration, but also the weight of the person who eats what, how ingested, age, or the strength of your metabolism. For that reason the amounts here are mere approximations by way of scientific curiosity.

How the venom of the deadliest animals on the planet works

It 's funny how some of the most extreme pains that human beings can experience come ...

When it comes to toxicity, the most widely accepted measure is what is known as median lethal dose  or LD50 (Lethal Dose 50) which is the amount, in milligrams per kilo of body weight, which kill 50% of the people who ingested.

In its very definition it is already the idea of inaccuracy. Half of subjects undergoing such massive doses could survive. Science simply considers the toxicity LD50 sufficient guarantee to not calculate the LD100.

This is to safeguard lives, not to calculate murders. For the figures we headlines we have calculated the LD50 for an adult weight of 75 kilos.

Caffeine: 93 espresso coffees

The chance of dying from drinking too much coffee is often the subject of many conversations ... over a cup of coffee. Fortunately for those who can not live without this wonderful drink, the amount of coffee needed for caffeine (the active ingredient of coffee) reaches a lethal dose is very high. According to page  Coffee Faq :

The LD50 of caffeine is 10 grams. However, this lethal dose varies greatly from one individual to another. In general, it is considered that taking 150 milligrams of caffeine per kilo of body weight can kill.Following this calculation, a 50 kilos die after ingesting 7.5 grams of pure caffeine. A 80 pass away with 12 grams. In children, the dose is much lower (35 milligrams per kilo of body weight) because they metabolize caffeine much slower.

According to the National Coffee Association A small cup of expresso coffee 240 milliliters is between 65 and 120 milligrams of caffeine. The difference is due to the different varieties of seed and way of preparation. In short, if we assume that we are taking weak coffee (65 milligrams per cup) A person could die with 75 kilos 173 cups of coffee. If coffee is powerful (120 milligrams), enough Faq 93. Coffee estimated that the lethal dose results in a number between 50 and 200 cups of coffee flip.

Coffee, tea and mate are not cancer: is the temperature which can cause cancer

The World Health Organization retracts: there is no evidence that coffee or tea ... Read

If we talk about tablets 200 milligrams of caffeine, a 75 kilos would be in serious danger after taking about 56 pills. Symptoms of acute caffeine poisoning are tremors, vomiting, tachycardia, arrhythmias or hyperglycemia.

The recommended caffeine for an adult daily dose should not exceed 300 milligrams (5 expresso coffees or 12 cans of Coca-Cola)

Anyway, it 's not a good idea to abuse the coffee. According  Coffee InformerA healthy adult should have no more than 300 or 400 milligrams of caffeine a day (or 6 milligrams of caffeine per kilogram of body weight). Applied to different beverages, that translates to five cups of expresso or almost twelve cans of Coca-Cola. On page even have a  calculator  to determine the dose according to your body weight.

Of course, we are talking about pure caffeine, not everything else that has an associated product like Coca-Cola. If you drink 12 cans of Coca-Cola caffeine a day will be the least of your problems. Which brings us to the next point.

Sugar: 2 kilos

We all love sweets, but the modern diet has too many added sugars. The problem is not so much sugar that we take coffee, but the sugars incorporated into the composition of many products such as soft drinks.
Again, the amount of sugar it would take to kill someone is so high that no stomach than resist.

According to tests performed in rats, the LD50 toxicity of sucrose (table sugar) is 29,700 milligrams per kilo of body weight. If we extrapolate to a human of 75 kilos, we are talking about 2.17 kilos of sugar eaten spooned. Ugh!

In case you were wondering, a can of soda has about 39 grams of sugar. To achieve a median lethal dose of sugar (for a 50 kilos) based Coke should be 38 cans of soda or just over 7 two - liter bottles.

One can of Coca-Cola already exceeds recommended by the World Health Organization daily dose of sugar

The big problem is not the sugar dose causing acute poisoning, but chronic poisoning. The World Health Organization  recommends that only between 5 and 10% of the calories we consume daily come directly from sugar.

In a healthy adult, that's about 25 grams of sugar a day. A can of Coca-Cola provides 39 grams. The list of health problems resulting from this so gluttonous diet is  long  and ranges from tooth decay to obesity, diabetes, liver problems or even pancreatic cancer.

Salt 4 tablespoons

From the sweetest of deaths to the saltier. How much salt is enough to kill a person? The answer is quite low.

There is a good reason not to drink sea water, and salt is particularly toxic in relatively small doses. The  lethal dose  (ingested) LD50 in rats is 3,000 milligrams of salt per kilogram body weight.

In adult humans enough between 0.75 and 3 grams of salt per kilo of weight to kill someone. If we consider the low (0.75 grams), an 80 kilos of weight can die with only 60 grams of salt ingested at once.

According to NPR, a tablespoon of salt and 15 grams they are so urban legend may be true in some cases: four tablespoons of salt can kill. Probably you do need more, but it is better not to risk to try it

Reducing salt intake may be mandatory for hypertension, elderly or those ...Continue reading

In countries like the UK every adult eats about 11 grams of salt per day, of which 75% comes from processed foods. The point is that most of the salt is usually removed with the water we drink.

In 2011 a 55 year old woman committed suicide by drinking a full bottle of Japanese soy sauce

Salt is not only lethal in its purest form Some foods rich in sodium chloride can be equally dangerous. In 2011, the medical journal  Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine  reported the case of a Japanese woman 55 years diagnosed with depression who committed suicide by drinking a bottle of soy sauce. Symptoms of  hypernatremia  acute include convulsions, cerebral edema and coma.

Water: 6.7 liters

Yes, even water is toxic if we drink enough quantity, and that amount is much smaller than it seems. In fact, if someone tried to kill himself by drinking Coca-Cola or coffee would die for excess water before the caffeine will take effect.

According  Science-Lab  LD50 orally water is 90 milliliters per kilo of body weight.

This yields a lethal dose of only 6.7 liters (13 bottles of water of 50 centilitres).
4 Myths about hydration that are completely false

as Derek Zoolander very wisely said, moisture is the essence of life. Whether you drink water ... Continue reading

How to kill the water? Like salt, water affects our body at the cellular level. If you eat too much water at once and our kidneys are not able to process it , the body stores it in the tissues.

In most areas, the cells have room to expand after absorbing excess water, but the brain is not one of these areas. The excess can produce a cerebral edema. It is an extreme case, but it  has happened  several times in adults.

Alcohol: 13 shots

Is bad to drink much we know, but how many beers must be taken to discuss a potentially lethal dose?

Just look up to see that, in an extreme case, the beer would kill us before their amount of water for its percentage of alcohol.

The lethal dose of ethyl alcohol or ethanol is 7.060 milliliters per kilo of body weight. In other words, enough a pint of alcohol to a person of 75 kilos.

In pages  Compound Interest , however, they calculated that figure much lower and ensure that sufficient 13 shots followed by a hard liquor like vodka (40 degrees concentration) to kill an adult of 75 kilos.

Each shot or shot has about 45 milliliters. It all depends on the tolerance of the person or physical condition. Also greatly it influences the time of intake.

The body makes superb to process large amounts of alcohol over a whole night work. The next day, the hangover will remind us that excesses are never good, even if we do not reach a lethal dose.

It AMLO now go after corruption in health sector

President of Mexico,  Andres Manuel Lopez  Obrador , said the fight against corruption in the health sector will, especially in the purchase of  medicines , an act that was extremely common within the Federal Government.
Morning press conference at the National Palace,  Lopez Obrador said will be announced the names of each and every one of the dealers of parastatals and ministries, so when there is an irregularity, will quickly be informed.
We will disclose the names of all dealers   Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and also those who supply the Federal Ministry of Health, the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) and the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) "

What has been said about it?

Repeatedly,  Lopez Obrador  has said it is a priority that corruption does not interfere with the processes of the health sector, either in materials or theft of public resources for this work has increased in recent years.
Corruption reached while to steal money from medicines, politicians became suppliers, sell drugs, so there is no supply of medicines. That was the past, and that corruption is over, nobody is going to steal money from drugs "
Thanks to the above, a period of approximately two years, Tabasco, will begin to see results in the health system, and thus have a health sector at the level of other countries, such as Canada, the UK and Denmark .

Ginger-Garlic Soup Made With 52 Cloves of Garlic Can Defeat Colds, Flu and Even Norovirus

iu-4
Forget the flu shot. A soup based on more than 50 cloves of garlic, onions, thyme and lemon will destroy almost any virus that enters its path including colds, flu and even norovirus.
As we sneeze and cough our way through these dark months of contagious nasties, garlic is being hailed for its powers to halt viruses in their tracks.
It has gained its reputation as a virus buster thanks to one of its chemical constituents, allicin.
A recent and significant finding from Washington State University shows that garlic is 100 times more effective than two popular antibiotics at fighting disease causing bacteria commonly responsible for foodborne illness.
When the garlic is crushed, alliin becomes allicin. Research shows that allicin helps lower cholesterol and blood pressure and also helps prevents blood clots. Garlic can also reduce the risk of developing atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Compounds in this familiar bulb kill many organisms, including bacteria and viruses that cause earaches, flu and colds. Research indicates that garlic is also effective against digestive ailments and diarrhea. What’s more, further studies suggest that this common and familiar herb may help prevent the onset of cancers.
‘This chemical has been known for a long time for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal powers,’ says Helen Bond, a Derbyshire-based consultant dietitian and spokeswoman for the British Dietetic Association.
‘Because of this, people assume it is going to boost their immune systems. Lots of people are simply mashing up garlic, mixing it with olive oil and spreading it on bread.
‘But how or whether it may actually work has still not been proven categorically.’
Indeed, scientists remain divided on garlic’s ability to combat colds and flu. Last March, a major investigation by the respected global research organisation, the Cochrane Database, found that increasing your garlic intake during winter can cut the duration of cold symptoms — from five-and-a-half days to four-and-a-half.
But the report, which amalgamated all previous scientific studies on garlic, said it could not draw solid conclusions because there is a lack of large-scale, authoritative research.
The problem is that pharmaceutical companies are not interested in running huge, expensive trials — as they would with promising new drug compounds — because there is nothing in garlic that they can patent, package and sell at a profit.

Modified Garlic Soup Recipe

Serves 4
26 garlic cloves (unpeeled)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) organic butter (grass fed)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
1/2 cup fresh ginger
2 1/4 cups sliced onions
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
26 garlic cloves, peeled
1/2 cup coconut milk
3 1/2 cups organic vegetable broth
4 lemon wedges
Preheat oven to 350F. Place 26 garlic cloves in small glass baking dish. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and toss to coat. Cover baking dish tightly with foil and bake until garlic is golden brown and tender, about 45 minutes. Cool. Squeeze garlic between fingertips to release cloves. Transfer cloves to small bowl.
Melt butter in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions, thyme, ginger and cayenne powder and cook until onions are translucent, about 6 minutes. Add roasted garlic and 26 raw garlic cloves and cook 3 minutes. Add vegetable broth; cover and simmer until garlic is very tender, about 20 minutes. Working in batches, puree soup in blender until smooth. Return soup to saucepan; add coconut milk and bring to simmer. Season with sea salt and pepper for flavour.
Squeeze juice of 1 lemon wedge into each bowl and serve.
Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Rewarm over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
garlic cloves3ef
If garlic were found to be a wonder drug, consumers could simply buy it in the supermarket for 30p a bulb or grow their own in the garden.
Nevertheless, garlic has a long and proud tradition as a medicine. The Ancient Egyptians recommended it for 22 ailments. In a papyrus dated 1500BC, the labourers who built the pyramids ate it to increase their stamina and keep them healthy.
The Ancient Greeks advocated garlic for everything from curing infections, and lung and blood disorders to healing insect bites and even treating leprosy.
The Romans fed it to soldiers and sailors to improve their endurance. Dioscorides, the personal physician to Emperor Nero, wrote a five-volume treatise extolling its virtues.
One of the most interesting of the recent findings is that garlic increases the overall antioxidant levels of the body. Scientifically known as Allium sativa, garlic has been famous throughout history for its ability to fight off viruses and bacteria. Louis Pasteur noted in 1858 that bacteria died when they were doused with garlic. From the Middle Ages on, garlic has been used to treat wounds, being ground or sliced and applied directly to wounds to inhibit the spread of infection. The Russians refer to garlic as Russian penicillin.
More recently, researchers have unearthed evidence to show garlic may help us to stay hale and hearty in a number of ways.
Last June, nutrition scientists at the University of Florida found eating garlic can boost the number of T-cells in the bloodstream. These play a vital role in strengthening our immune systems and fighting viruses.
And pharmacologists at the University of California found that allicin — the active ingredient in garlic that contributes to bad breath — is an infection-killer.
Allicin also makes our blood vessels dilate, improving blood flow and helping to tackle cardiovascular problems such as high cholesterol.
An Australian study of 80 patients published last week in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition reported that diets high in garlic may reduce high blood pressure.
In 2007, dentists in Brazil found that gargling with garlic water (made by steeping crushed garlic cloves in warm, but not boiling, water) can kill the germs that cause tooth decay and gum disease.
But they hit a snag: the volunteers refused to continue the experiment, complaining that the garlic gargle made them feel sick. Looking at the garlic soup recipe certainly made me feel queasy. Still, it gave me an excuse to use up my ample supply of garlic.
Though last year’s awful weather caused crop failures on my allotment, I enjoyed a bumper harvest of garlic.
Among its many other virtues, garlic kills slugs and snails. Researchers from the University of Newcastle believe it contains oils that may cripple the nervous systems of these slimy creatures.
There are two schools of thought as to the best way of preparing garlic to make the most of its medicinal qualities.
Argentinian investigators found it releases its allicin-type compounds when you bake the cloves, while scientists at South Carolina Medical University believe peeling garlic and letting it sit uncovered for 15 minutes produces the highest levels of compounds to fight infection.
So you can simply peel half of the garlic cloves and roast the other half with the kitchen door tightly closed (to stop the pong permeating throughout the house).
After an hour-and-a-quarter’s industrious soup-making, sprinkle lemon juice over a bowl of steaming, grey gloop and tuck in.
The heady aroma certainly revs up the appetite and the first spoonful does not disappoint. Delicious as it is, however, one large bowl of home-made soup is a more than ample meal.
As for the soup’s cold-preventing powers, only time will tell. Regular bowlfuls may very well keep me free of winter ailments, thanks to the virus-killing compounds they contain.
Or it could just be that my nuclear-strength garlic breath will keep everyone who is infectious far out of sneezing range for months to come.

Keanu Reeves Has Been Running a Secret Cancer Foundation to Fund Children’s Hospitals

Reeves
The Matrix movie series was one of the most revolutionary works of art to ever come out of Hollywood. Its pro-humanity, anti-authoritarian message instantly made it a classic and it has since become the subject of internet memes and (red pill) movements alike. At the center of this silver-screen revolution is Keanu Reeves whose real-life heroism makes his role as Neo that much more incredible.
It is no secret that Keanu Reeves is Hollywood’s biggest low-key real-life hero, but did you know that he also secretly funds children’s hospitals? We didn’t, and most people probably wouldn’t either as the upcoming star of the sci-fi thriller Replicas is not exactly boastful of his contributions to society—unlike many other Hollywood celebrities.
Reeves is so modest that he runs a private foundation which aids cancer research and children’s hospitals around the country. This Hollywood superstar is so unpretentious that he’s actually only talked about it one time and in an interview with a women’s magazine who had an inside track and asked him about it.
Reeves desire to help those with cancer could possibly come from the fact that his sister was diagnosed with leukemia around 1991. After battling it for nearly a decade, Kim Reeves went into remission in 1999.
“I love Kim,” Keanu said to Woman’s Day in 1999. “She’s so brave, and I want the very best for her. You can star in hit movies, but that’s nothing compared to going through what Kim’s been through.”
“Keanu helped me so much through my illness,” Kim told the magazine in the interview.
“When the pain got really bad, he would sit with me and hold my hand, and keep the ‘bad man’ from making me dance. He was supporting me and comforting me all the time, even when he was away.”
In 2009, ten years after the Woman’s Day interview, Reeves spilled the beans about his charitable work with children’s hospitals. In a Ladies Home Journal article published in 2009, he said he had started a private charitable foundation years ago:
“I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research. I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.”
Reeves financing a network of children’s hospitals and cancer research should come as no surprise as he’s been ‘caught’ doing remarkably humane deeds over the past years.
Below is a list TFTP reported last year that was Redditors compiled of testimonials from people who claim their lives have been touched by Reeves and noted ten times this Hollywood legend has lived up to the “Bill and Ted’s” motto of “be excellent to each other.”

1. Reeves would routinely buy lunch for all the workers on the sets of his movies.

“Back in the late 90s and fresh out of college I got my first job as an assistant prop designer on the set of Chain Reaction (Keanu was a supporting actor with Morgan Freeman). EVERY DAY for the last few weeks of filming, Keanu treated the stage hands and “grunt workers” (including myself) by taking us out for free breakfast and lunch. He was genuinely a very nice guy to work with.
“Since then, I’ve worked on about 30 different sets and have never met an actor as generous and friendly as him. Most actors I’ve seen and worked with are total douches who always think they are better than us. Keanu on the other hand, at the very least, was socially approachable and definitely kindhearted.
“That was one example (that involved me directly), but (on the same set), I remember him going out of his way to give my friend a ride to the repair shop to pick up his car… I’ll write more as I remember, but its been a while.” — bo2dd2

2. Reeves reportedly gave $20,000 to a crew member of the Matrix because he knew he was having family trouble.

“A family friend builds movie sets, doesn’t design, is one of the poor dudes that just builds. Anyways he worked on the set for the Matrix and Keanu heard about family trouble he was having and gave him a $20,000 Christmas bonus to help him out. He also was one of the only people on the set that genuinely wanted to know peoples names, would say hello and mean it, and would talk to people as they were his peers and not below him just because they were practically making nothing to build a set. I’ve never heard anyone say Keanu is douche, seems like the nicest person in Hollywood from a second hand experience.” — kahi

3. Reeves was reported to have driven a woman 50 miles out of his way because her car broke down.

“A friend of mine told me that she was once stranded on the side of a highway outside LA when her jalopy broke down. She had no cell phone (that was before most people had cell phones) and no way to call for help. Then a nice black porsche pulls over and as you can guess, it was Keanu. He tried to help her jump start the car and when it didn’t work, he called AAA for her. When they towed her car, he offered her to drive her home, which she accepted. He drove about 50 miles out of his destination just to drive her home. She told me she hoped he would hit on her but he didn’t, he was just a gentleman, dropped her at her house, gave her his phone number and told her to call him if she needed further help.”— lovemyax

4. Reeves was alleged to have bought Harley Davidson Motorcycles for the entire special effects crew on the Matrix.

“I had a few friends working special effects jobs on the Matrix movies, he bought all of them fucking HARLEYS for Christmas during the shoot for the second one.
“One of those guys, Paul, said that Keanu was the most sincere, humble and lovely dude he’d ever met. Said he eschewed contact with the cast in favour of hanging out with the crew, was the only guy the martial arts coaches respected out of the whole cast, and was the bravest man he’s ever met. That scene in the first Matrix film, the assault on the office tower lobby – Keanu turned down earplugs for all the charges blowing everywhere taking ‘bullet holes’ out of pillars, walls etc, just for authenticity. When he turns and hides behind a pillar which explodes with bullets hitting it on both sides, Paul said ‘the entire crew was about 15 metres away, with ear protection, and all flinching anyway when the charges blew – Keanu just took it like a complete badass.’”

5. When he’s not buying people things, giving them rides, or starting a revolution, he is a genuinely nice person who makes everyone around him happy.

“My brother works at a coffee shop in New York, it’s got pretty alright coffee but the real draw is that they roast their own beans and all the beans are sucked through pneumatic tubes into a machine that grinds and brews all at once. It’s a bunch of bells and whistles, and doesn’t necessarily make for the best coffee ever. Anyway, Keanu comes into the store and orders a coffee, asks my brother how the whole system works and immediately after he finishes, he pauses, looks surprised and says ‘Whoa.’ It was perfect. And it seemed like he was actually interested and impressed by the fancy nature of the coffee shop.”

6. Reeves stands accused of being a regular guy, who likes to chill and who may also be a mythological being.

“So my neighbor was out camping and met Keanu Reeves who was also camping (I guess he likes dogs because he came up and said ‘I love these dogs!’ about her rottweiler) and she said she thought she was crazy for a minute because no one else knew he was there and it turns out Keanu was just there chilling with a one-man tent and a cooler and his little Dodge car and every time someone looked at him he’d just turn his face away and it’s kind of just solidified in my mind that Keanu Reeves is a cryptid.”
While the above testimonials could be mere rumors, they are backed up by some of the examples below as Reeves was captured on video and in images being a great person.

7. Reeves was captured on video simply being a friend to a homeless man.

One of the most famous stories surrounding Keanu Reeves took place back in 1997, when he was spotted hanging out with a homeless person. Apparently, he was just minding his own business on the streets of Hollywood and chanced upon this man. He then shared some drinks, snacks, and listened to the man’s stories, even lying down on his back, clearly interested in what the man had to say. All of this might have gone unrecorded had some paparazzis not stopped by and noticed the two deep in conversation.

8. Reeves put his own money back into the Matrix movies so he could ensure the employment of the crew.

Although there is a false internet myth that Keane Reeves gave tens of millions to the crew of the Matrix, he would indeed make deals to take lower pay so the employees of the movie could have jobs.
As Roger Friedman explained, Keanu Reeves never wrote a personal check to anyone. The back-end deal basically put some of his money back into the franchise to ensure that the special effects and costume crew could continue working on the franchise for the duration of the trilogy. It’s more akin to what Keanu did on The Devil’s Advocate and The Replacements, which was to give up part of his asking price so that the studio could afford to hire Al Pacino and Gene Hackman in those respective films.

9. The Hollywood legend has been recorded giving up his seat on the subway—because he’s a gentleman.

Not only would other Hollywood stars never be caught riding a subway, but some of these types are reportedly so arrogant that even if they had to ride on the subway, they would likely never give up their seat. But these other stars aren’t Keanu Reeves.
Reeves was seen on video—not doing a PR stunt—jumping out of his seat to give it to a woman who’d just boarded the train.

10. Reeves would rather wait in the rain than inconvenience others or cause a scene.

As Page Six reported at the time:
Keanu Reeves was more like his chill character from “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” than any pampered movie star Friday when he waited patiently in the rain for 20 minutes to get into his own wrap party for “Daughter of God.” Chauffeur Ronny Sunshine — once known as the “Mad Limo Czar” for driving bands including The Beatles, he claims — was also on the scene outside Chelsea lounge the Leonora. “Keanu was really patiently waiting,” the driver told us. “I don’t think he said anything to the bouncer, like, ‘I’m Keanu.’ No one recognized him.”
Sunshine added: “Keanu looks very ordinary. It was raining, but he just waited for his two friends to come. He didn’t act like he had money. I just thought he was a rock ’n’ roller.” The club’s owner Noel Ashman told us: “I didn’t know he was kept waiting, and he didn’t say anything to me.” He added, “He’s a very relaxed person.” Once inside, Reeves even announced from the DJ booth he’d found another guest’s credit card on the ground and wanted to return it. Totally excellent!
