BRICS go for the "Fourth Industrial Revolution" with developing countries

After three days, the IX Summit of  BRICS  comes to an end leaving as a message the  opening of the block  towards developing country and growth through the "Fourth Industrial Revolution", as he calls Chinese President Xi Jinping.

"An  industrial and technological revolution  has generated new growth drivers and brought development opportunities as never generating an option for countries in developing and  emerging economies  may be on (...) we must take steps in innovation and reform, pushing with economic adjustment , "Xi said in the dialogue emerging market and developing country, an event which was attended by Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto .

Countries support the  technological cooperation and entrepreneurship , mobility of researchers, entrepreneurs, professionals and students through foreign investment through available funds and institutions like  New Development Bank , an organization that supports sustainable, technological projects, among others .

It was also agreed to promote the entrepreneurial sector through the Plan of Action 2017-2030 for cooperation and innovation and encourage  joint research  in the BRICS countries on issues such as  Internet of Things , cloud computing, big data, data analysis, e - commerce, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence and 5G networks.

"This year we have made new progress in the BRICS ... additional institutions that have implemented the e-port network model, we have a group working on e-commerce, among other things. (...) These mechanisms will give you a  strong support to economic and cultural cooperation , "Xi told a news conference the BRICS Summit IX said on the sidelines.

The president mentioned that  80 percent of global growth in 2016  was due to the developing country, this trend, he said, is creating new industries and technology as well as new business models that invite collaboration.

This is one of the objectives for which the proposal was generated  BRICS Plus, An initiative that seeks to increase cooperation and through which  Mexico ,  Egypt ,  Kenya ,  Thailand  and  Tajikistan  were invited to the summit.

"The purpose of inviting representatives of developing countries from different regions of this dialogue is to fortify a wide network of partnerships in development and to build a community of common development and a shared future , " he said.

National Agenda

President Enrique Peña Nieto participated in the  dialogue between Emerging Economies held on the morning of September 5 (local time) where participated Brazil, India, Russia, China and South Africa and the other four countries invited.

In addition, within the framework of the summit meetings with Yi Huiman, CEO of Industrial and Commerce Bank of China they fell through, with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.

In the seventh meeting embodying the Xi and Peña Nieto presidents, dialogue focused on  Mexican products sold in the Chinese market,  the network share, Chinese banks with a presence in Mexican lands, NAFTA, the political crisis in Venezuela Chinese companies that have involvement in the extraction and exploration of national oil industry, among other things.

According to what he said at a press conference Shi Yaobin, Chinese Vice Minister of Finance, Mexico's participation will help you have a better understanding with the countries of the bloc and will generate an opportunity for enhanced cooperation among the five countries and Mexico.
