Religion and extraterrestrials, what it is beyond belief

What they have in common religion with the aliens? Do you think there could be life beyond Earth? Since ancient civilization, these questions are on the table, because they were the ones who already began to question this issue for the first time looked at the stars. Well, the answer depended on their own beliefs. Today let 's look  at what is in common between religion and aliens .

Religion and aliens, is anyone there?

And the way of understanding the meaning of life depends on the different  religions . In this sense worth seeing what things are possible, or not, which is determined by the tenets of these religions.

Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church

The Vatican has its own observatory, and they have already made clear that it would be open to the existence of life  alien  for quite some time . Ensure that simply believing in the existence of life beyond Earth would not be incompatible with Catholic beliefs. Yes, the whole institution itself admits the possibility of alien life, but these would not be beings like humans, but would be less advanced and very menial.

Orthodox Catholic Church is even more closed regarding the existence of aliens.

Judaism

Judaism in its holy book, the  Torah , and raises the possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial life . In particular, says that "although there are stars beyond that illuminates the Earth, everything that is created in the universe exists only for the purpose of serving man, either physically or spiritually."

For them, while God created the Earth and its creatures in order to serve humans, also exist the possibility that  new human generations to live in new undiscovered lands to ensure their existence .

Islam

The Koran is the holy book in a religion like Islam. Well, in this book if you talk about  the possibility of life beyond Earth, but this life would respond to the power and guidance of Allah . The aliens who would not speaking Muslim religion, and live in parallel worlds guided by their own prophet.

Mormons

Mormons position is the most open about the belief that extraterrestrial life could exist . They believe that it exists, but humans still have not found. For them, these unknown beings who inhabit planets would be a marked sensitive and rational thought. This religion itself has made clear without doubt its position.

Hinduism and Buddhism

Based religions in the East such as Hinduism and Buddhism, and have no clear holy book, have a much more open bases , especially in certain areas such as reincarnation and karma. It is therefore not surprising that precisely  the Hindus and Buddhists are perhaps less skeptical about the existence of extraterrestrial .

For Hinduism, it is entirely possible existence of creatures that come out of this planet . For them, people are sorted according to caste, so they would have to see what these beings belong, if they are inferior or superior to humans.

With regard to Buddhism, say that in this sense have a much less structured belief, and not left alone on Earth. For them,  their dogma can be applied to any universe , so this is where you enter your position on alien life, acquaintances or loved. Ie, religion and aliens are fully supported.

Have religion you are , you are free to have your own beliefs ,  and while religious people are less likely to accept the existence of intelligent life outside the planet, remain free to go accepting what science discovers. So  religion and aliens are not incompatible at all .
