¿Qué podía hacer España para evitar eso que ya era imparable? Pues bajar la riqueza productiva de Cataluña. ¿Cómo? Pues provocando que todas las grandes empresas catalanas trasladaran su sede fuera de Cataluña.


Objetivo que consiguió rápidamente España amenazando a las empresas catalanas que en una República Catalana si quisieran vender sus productos en España deberían pagar unos impuestos del 30%.

Unos impuestos tanto elevados provocaban que si querían vender en España sus productos no tendrían ninguna ganancia, sino sólo pérdidas.

Las empresas grandes que su mercado no era excluida de España, sino que exportaban sus productos en el extranjero, estas recibían una llamada del mismo rey de España amenazándoles y diciendo que él tenía muy buena relación diplomática con los monarcas y dirigentes del país y que sólo con una llamada su podía bloquear la entrada de la venta de sus productos en el país donde realizaban la mayor parte de sus ventas.

De esta forma tanto ruin, España logró que miles de empresas cambiaran su sede en Madrid u otras comunidades españolas.

Dejando Cataluña con un PIB mucho más bajo que el actual y provocando que la EFTA les comunicara que ya no podían aceptar su entrada, porque no cumplían las condiciones que le pidieran.

La pregunta, que os haréis todos, es por qué Carles Puigdemont no declaró la DUI antes de que todas las empresas se fueran? Pues la razón es porque la EFTA para aceptar la DUI como válida sólo pedía una condición, que el senado firmara la ejecución del 155. Sólo así aceptarían España como un estado opresor y sólo así aceptarían la República Catalana como válida.

Pero el gobierno español también lo sabía esto y lo que decidió fue alargar la espera de esta firma del senado del 155 todo el tiempo que fuera necesario y así Cataluña no podría declarar la DUI.

Qué poblema había? Que España tenía la llave de la caja de los presupuestos, esto quiere decir que Cataluña durante todo este tiempo que tardara España a firmar este 155 no podría pagar nada a sus trabajadores, funcionarios, etc y esto hubiera producido manifestaciones, disturbios, desórdenes y quejas de la gente que no cobraba.

Hubiera sido un desastre total. Así que sin caja y sin el apoyo europeo, que os recordamos que perdió por culpa de las empresas que por cobardía decidieron cambiar su sede fuera de Cataluña, al presidente Carles Puigdemont sólo le quedaba una opción, convocar elecciones.
