China deports an American spy
China has deported an American woman accused of spying, reports Saturday Dui Hua, an advocacy group for human rights.
The woman, Sandy Phan-Gillis, was arrested in 2015 on the border of Macao - a small special administrative region on the southern coast of China for allegedly stealing state secrets and transmit information to third parties.
Charges for the accused received three and a half years in prison and deportation on Wednesday.
Phan-Gillis arrived Friday in the US city of Los Angeles (southwest) and was received by her husband and relatives as Dui Hua said in a statement.
