SWAT sergeant Sheriff's Office Broward wearing a patch conspiracy "Qanon" in his official uniform as she posed in a photo with Vice President Mike Pence in the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport the last week received a written reprimand and will be reassigned, the department announced Monday.
Sergeant was discovered that Matthew Patten, a veteran of 27 years of the sheriff's office, violated the uniform code of the department and showed "conduct unbecoming an employee , " according to the official warning signed by Patten. He was removed from the National Security Bureau of the Division of Strategic BSO SWAT Team and Research Agency and will be reassigned to theDepartment of Law Enforcement.
The decision comes days after the photo of Patten with Pence and other deputies were published on the official Twitter page of the Vice President. The tweet was later deleted.
Pence was in the city on Friday to the National Conference of the Israeli-American Council of 2018. Patten was part of a group of deputies who attended the US Secret Service. UU.With a security detail, according tothe reprimand. Pence asked a group photo, Captain Steven Robson said in the letter
