Young people also ask for a Third Republic in Madrid: "Monarchy for me is not democracy"

More than a thousand people of all ages have asked Madrid to decide which model of state want to live

"Monarchy for me is not democracy." Irene is one of the many young people who on Sunday commemorated the Second Republic in Madrid and have called for a referendum to decide the state model in which you live. "It is the foundation of any democracy, you have to have monarchy, that the people choose," said Jorge, who has come with Irene and two more class mates. Study history and want to "fight the future we see coming in Spain," where "the extreme right is picking up a lot of power," says Jorge.
