Decades ago, governments, both municipal and autonomous or state, considered that basic services should be privatized, but over time have realized the error. Cities like Berlin and Paris have rescued water for example. But not only serves to practice a more affordable price to such essential utilities , in addition, it is fresh money every two or three months. The future Republic of Catalonia must consider that services as essential as water, electricity and gas (and I would add internet) is in the hands of the people of Catalonia. Imagine millions of users paying their bills to the republic accounts every month ... It's a way to always be capitalized.
