The French organization Générations Futures has conducted a study on the presence of glyphosate, the most toxic herbicide used in the world in the urine of people. The results are chilling, all test persons carry this organism in its carcinogenic potential and least one, at doses greater than those permitted drinking water.
What has made this organization neighbor Spain country is to analyze the urine of 30 persons of both sexes, aged between eight and 60 years old, living in the city or in the countryside, with variable power supply (organic or not , vegetarian or not).
They include personalities like the former Minister of Ecology Delphine Batho, singer Emily Loizeau, the radio host Charline Vanhoenacker, humorist Alex Visorek or journalist and activist Marie-Monique Robin, author of books Comoa future harvest or The World According to Monsanto.
Do results ?: The 100% of the samples containing glyphosate at a concentration greater than the minimum quantization value test, i.e. 0.075 ng / ml.
The average concentration was found of 1.25 ng / ml. The lowest value was 0.09 ng / ml and the highest of 2.89 ng / ml.
In almost all cases (29 of 30), the concentration is greater than the concentration maximum allowed for the presence of a pesticide in drinking water (0.1 ng / ml).
This shows once again that we are contaminated by practices in the cultivation of harmful foods. Glyphosate is the most widely used pesticide in the European Union (EU). Scientific tests have continued publishing during the last decades documenting their health risks. So much so that in 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (agency of the World Health Organization) has classified glyphosate as "probable human carcinogen" .
We Move Europe , an organization geared towards action that is present in most of the countries of the European Union (EU) has launched a collection of signatures for the European Citizens ' Initiative (ECI) which seeks to ban glyphosate, improve evaluation risks of pesticides and reduce the use of toxic pesticides in the European Union.
