A recent survey found that the Scots support the realization of a second referendum, promoted by the SNP party after the next British elections.

A poll published Sunday Panelbase opinion poll indicated that 52 percent of Scots supports the holding of a second referendum to secede from the UK, but this woulddepend on the results in the British elections on 8 June.
Should you win the SNP Nicola Sturgeon, chief minister of Scotland, "would be entitled" to call a new referendum if it obtains more than half of the 59 votes, corresponding to Scotland in Parliament in the UK.
The poll indicates that 41 percent of respondents prefer an independent Scotland in the European Union and 10 percent want to be independent, but outside the European group.
In 2014 the first consultative attempt to secede from the United Kingdom was made, however, voters elected to continue to belong.
