AFGHANISTAN ... BATTLE next spring

AFGHANISTAN, THE BATTLE next spring

By Guadi Calvo.
As we said a few days ago ( Afghanistan: Hunting season ), the Central Asian country has become a huge hunting ground, where there are distinguished hunters hunted.
As proof barely hours of the latest attacks of the  Taliban  against different military targets, four in total, executed between Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, which left about 150 people dead and nearly 300 injured, to crown the week, this last Friday, October 20, the holy day of Islam, two simultaneous attacks against two mosques there were  Shiites .
The first in Kabul and the other in Ghor province west of the country between the two attacks caused about 70 deaths and about 100 wounded.
The action that left most victims targeted the mosque of  Imam  Zamam in the Kabuli neighborhood Dasht-e-Barchi, west of the city, mostly inhabited by minority martyred  Hazara .
During the evening prayer attacker blew himself up killing 39 people and wounding 45 others and vindicated by the emirate of  Khorasan ( Daesh )
The goal in Ghor province, was the Khwajagan mosque in the district of Du-Layna, which produced thirty dead.
Beyond the attack on the community  Shia , the authorities believe that the main target was Fazl-ul-Ahad Khan, commander of the many forces parastatals operating in Ghor against fundamentalists who was among the dead, along several of his lieutenants.
Attacks on the community  Shia  are frequent in Afghanistan, the last that had occurred were at the end of the month last August in Kabul that left 28 dead and about fifty wounded.
In this case the attack was claimed by  the Emirate of Khorasan , a formation founded in January 2015 by the  Daesh , and intended to create an emirate that contains nothing less than to Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.
United States meanwhile, trying to rethink its presence in Afghanistan from the new administration, after announcing the shipment of about three thousand men and require its European partners that at least send another thousand, bombed a training camp  Daesh,  where apparently died about 40  Mujahideen  in Peja, Achinm district in Nangarhar province this past Saturday.
In addition they were destroyed a large number of weapons, ammunition and explosives. This operation attempts to prevent attacks such as last Friday in Kabul.
Another attack in which two people were killed and eight wounded, occurred in a hotel in Ishkamish district of Takhar province in the north of the country.
So far none of the Wahhabi groups operating in the area, has been awarded the attack.
During this last week also returned to register clashes between the Taliban  and the men of the Caliph Ibrahim, war is not overlapping less bloody.
Sticklers both groups are in dispute over the opium-producing regions, a key factor to finance their wars, as the country is the world's largest opium producer with almost 95% of the total.
Since the 2001 invasion, production has increased 25-fold by passing the acreage of 8,000 hectares 201mil, at present crops are located in 21 of the 34 Afghan provinces.
Last Thursday, the battles were fought in Jogyani district in Nangarhar province, east of the country, which have killed about a dozen militants.
The  mullah  Haibatullah Akhundzada, top leader of the  Taliban reiterated on several occasions asked both groups to avoid clashes, but nothing has been achieved.
Skirmishes between the  Taliban  and  Daesh , which occur with some regularity already claimed the lives of some 800 militants from both sides.
An old player returns to the conflict?
Intelligence agencies and international media insist on establishing that Moscow has taken the side of his former rivals the Taliban  and is just Russia who is providing weapons to the organization founded by  Mullah  Omar.
Afghan officials have complained in various forums to Moscow for its intervention in the war Kabul, backed by the United States waged against the  Taliban , claiming that foreign powers try to fill the gaps after the US withdrawal.
After weeks of intense battles in the western province of Farah, where the fighters  Taliban  were to take the capital city of the same name for the third time this year.
The commander of 207 Corps of the Afghan Army, reported that terrorists carrying weapons from Russia.
To continue the pace of insurgent attacks against military targets and civilian Afghan Trump's decision to actively take up the war in Afghanistan.
Since almost 10 thousand American soldiers who remain in the Central Asian country, only meet training and surveillance tasks, being prevented from entering combat, even if you can bomb.
The  Taliban  with their actions is openly defying Trump, although it is known that with the arrival of winter, the war front will tend to calm down until next spring, is expected to be one of the bloodiest in the last decade.
