Known analyst warns that the global financial system goes bankrupt

William White, renowned Canadian economist and president of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2009, warns that the global financial system goes into bankruptcy because it has sufficient resources to deal with another crisis.

According to White:  "The world is overcome by a dangerous avalanche of defaults and bankruptcies that will test the global political and social stability."

He adds that  "the current situation is worse than in 2007, since the necessary ammunition to fight macroeconomic crises are almost exhausted."

This warning has particular resonance because White was one of the few voices that held between 2005 and 2008, that Western finances were heading towards decline, and that the global economy was likely to suffer a violent crisis.

"The stimulus of quantitative easing and zero interest rates by central banks after the crisis of Lehman Brothers, filtered throughout East Asia and emerging markets, causing the storage of speculative bubbles and rising loans in US dollars, which is difficult to control in a world of free capital flows. The European banking system may have to recapitalize in a still unimaginable scale, and new rules "rescue" means any holder of deposits above € 100,000 guarantee will have to help pay for these bailouts.

"During the next recession it will be evident that many of these debts can never be repaid, a fact that greatly annoy those people who think they own the assets have some value," White said.

"The only question is whether we are able to look reality in the eye and face what lies ahead in an orderly manner, or whether it will be in a disorderly way"

The next task that awaits the world authorities is how to manage debt cancellation and therefore, will face a massive reorganization of winners and losers in society, without triggering a political storm.

RECONOCIDO ANALISTA ADVIERTE QUE EL SISTEMA FINANCIERO MUNDIAL VA A LA QUIEBRA

Esta advertencia tiene especial resonancia dado que White fue una de las pocas voces que sostuvo entre 2005 y 2008,que las finanzas occidentales se estaban dirigiendo hacia el declive, y que la economía global era susceptible de sufrir una violenta crisis.

“Los estímulos de la flexibilización cuantitativa y los tipos de intereses nulos por parte de los bancos centrales, tras la crisis de Lehman Brothers, se filtraron a lo largo de Asia oriental y los mercados emergentes, provocando el almacenamiento de burbujas especulativas y el aumento de los préstamos en dólares estadounidenses, algo difícil de controlar en un mundo de libre flujo de capital”.

La deuda pública y privada combinada se ha disparado hasta máximos históricos de 185% del PIB en los mercados emergentes y hasta el 265% del PIB en el club de la OCDE, ambos por encima en un 35% respecto a los máximos del último ciclo de crédito en 2007.

White, también fue el autor principal de un reciente informe del G30 sobre el futuro después de la crisis de la banca central, donde afirma que es imposible saber cuál puede ser detonante para la próxima crisis, ya que el sistema global ha perdido su ancla y es inherentemente propenso a la ruptura.

El economista aclaró que las deudas han ido aumentando durante los últimos ocho años, llegando a tal punto que pueden convertirse en la principal causa del problema que se avecina.

White afirma que los acreedores de Europa tendrán que hacer frente a los mayores problemas. Los bancos europeos ya han admitido a 1 billón de euros en morosidad: están muy expuestos a los mercados emergentes, y es casi seguro que están sometidos a muchas más malas deudas de las que nunca han revelado.

“La única pregunta es si somos capaces de mirar la realidad a los ojos y enfrentar lo que viene de una manera ordenada, o si va a ser de forma desordenada”

La siguiente tarea que le espera a las autoridades mundiales es cómo manejar la cancelación de deudas y por lo tanto, deberán afrontar un reordenamiento masivo de ganadores y perdedores en la sociedad, sin que ello desencadene una tormenta política.

Si leemos bien entre líneas, White no solo nos advierte del desastre financiero que se avecina, sino que nos advierte sobre las turbulencias políticas, económicas y sociales que se producirán cuando sea necesario re-organizar de nuevo todo el sistema.

¿Cuántas deudas se pagarán? ¿Cuántas se perdonarán?

¿Cómo se compensará a aquellos que no las hayan cobrado?

¿Qué efecto tendrá este derrumbe de la economía global sobre las clases sociales más necesitadas?

¿Qué influencia tendrá la llegada de las nuevas tecnologías, (como la robótica, la impresión 3D o la Inteligencia Artificial), que dejarán a tanta gente sin trabajo en todo el mundo?

¿Cómo se mantendrá toda esa masa de gente sin posibilidades de desarrollo?

Tal y como dice White, en la que es la frase más significativa de su intervención: ¿cómo se afrontará el reordenamiento masivo de ganadores y perdedores en la sociedad, sin que ello desencadene una tormenta?

Como vemos, estamos hablando de un reset global a todos los niveles, de un reinicio total de todo el sistema económico, político y social.

Y en ese reinicio todo el mundo buscará ocupar la mejor posición, la más ventajosa; todos querrán cobrar sus deudas o buscar compensaciones y habrá muchos que no querrán pagarlas.

Y sobretodo, habrá una gran parte de la población que sufrirá las consecuencias.

Y eso generará el peligro de que se produzcan disturbios sociales que amenacen con echar el sistema abajo; para controlar la situación, las élites gobernantes necesitarán que aparezcan interlocutores que negocien en nombre del pueblo y de “la justicia social”; que se erijan en portavoces de las clases populares y cuya función será impedir que estalle una rebelión generalizada e incontrolable de las clases oprimidas. Su función será llevar al pueblo como un rebaño durante esta transición, para impedir que se descontrole y ponga en peligro los intereses de los más poderosos.

Esos interlocutores pagados por las élites ya existen en muchos lugares del mundo, ya han sido convenientemente promocionados y ya han empezado a ocupar posiciones. ¿Aún no sabéis quienes son? Una pista: van en camiseta o en mangas de camisa, no llevan corbatas ni trajes, hablan de “igualdad y justicia social”, de “acabar con los privilegios de los más poderosos”, de establecer “rentas básicas de ciudadanía” y de acabar con el “fraude fiscal”.

Su función es sentar las bases para ese Nuevo Orden, haciéndole creer a la población que son logros sociales alcanzados gracias a su “rebelión democrática”.

Y además, serán los primeros en apoyar la instauración del dinero electrónico bajo el pretexto de controlar el fraude, para que todos podamos estar bajo un control férreo.

Y para que parezca que esos cambios son reales, muchos de los que ahora se consideran ricos (y que en realidad son clase media sobre-vitaminada), acabarán pagando el pato. Sí son aquellos con “cuentas de más de 100.000 euros que tendrán que avalar los rescates con sus depósitos” y que serán sacrificados. Tienen dos o tres residencias, un par de buenos coches y se creen que son de “la clase superior”, los muy idiotas.

No hace falta decir que ante ese potencial descontento social que se avecina, hará falta el establecimiento de un Estado Policial que lo controle.

Y la excusa para empezar a implementarlo, ya existe: se llama “terrorismo yihadista” y dadas sus características, es el pretexto idóneo para establecer un régimen de vigilancia masivo, sin que nos demos cuenta de que, en realidad, va orientado contra nosotros.

Además, será una magnífica herramienta para generar miedo entre la población y someterla al inmobilismo para que no pueda responder ante lo que se avecina y para que delegue en representantes comprados.

Sí, por lo visto, casi todas las piezas ya están en su lugar…

Y Sí, estamos hablando de un Nuevo Orden Mundial.

Sí, estamos hablando de una era post-petrolífera en la que se desarrollarán nuevas tecnologías, nuevos materiales y nuevas fuentes de energía.

Sí, estamos hablando de un potencial conflicto bélico a gran escala, en la que todos querrán ganarse una posición final ventajosa de cara al Nuevo Orden; un Nuevo Orden en el que todos los contendientes están de acuerdo, aunque difieren en el peso y la posición que cada uno quiere desempeñar en él. Franco deja de ser alcalde honorario de Tomelloso

Tras una votación unánime de todos los partidos, la localidad ciudadrealeña da un paso más en cuanto a la supresión de distintivos que suponen un enaltecimiento de la dictadura.

Después de casi cuarenta años de democracia, el dictador Francisco Franco Bahamonde ha dejado de ser alcalde honorario de la localidad ciudadrealeña de Tomelloso. Concretamente, ha tenido que ser un joven equipo de Gobierno socialista el que, con Inmaculada Jiménez al frente de la Alcaldía, decidiera llevar a un pleno municipal la retirada de las distinciones honoríficas que incumplían la Ley de Memoria Histórica.

Pues bien, tras una votación unánime de todos los grupos municipales, Tomelloso ha dado un paso más en la supresión de distintivos que suponen un enaltecimiento del régimen franquista, ya que el dictador no era solamente “Alcalde Honorario a perpetuidad de la Municipalidad de Tomelloso”, un reconocimiento que obtuvo el 25 de septiembre de 1967, sino que también se le ha tenido que revocar la Medalla de Oro de la ciudad que se le concedió tras un acuerdo ratificado por el pleno extraordinario el 27 de diciembre de 1973.

Una cuestión de justicia social

Sobre este asunto, la concejala de Recursos Humanos y Régimen Interior, Ana María Martínez, ha declarado a periodicoclm.es que “aparte de que la Ley de Memoria Histórica obliga a las administraciones públicas a retirar las menciones honoríficas concedidas a figuras relacionadas con la dictadura”, también se trata de “una cuestión de justicia social”.

En este sentido, la edil socialista no considera que la figura de Francisco Franco Bahamonde merezca que el Ayuntamiento de Tomelloso le rinda ningún honor con la Medalla de Oro de la ciudad, y menos aún con la figura de alcalde honorífico a perpetuidad, un término que como ha explicado “entra en conflicto con la propia democracia, aunque la figura sea simbólica”.

Preguntada sobre su opinión con respecto a que esta decisión haya tardado casi medio siglo en llegar, Martínez ha explicado que “hay grupos políticos que se escudan en que, una vez que el dictador murió, esas menciones dejaron de tener efecto jurídico”, pero ha señalado que “sí tienen un efecto simbólico”.

Para finalizar, la concejala del PSOE ha dicho que “además de cumplir la Ley, el retirar condecoraciones a figuras del franquismo también está en el espíritu de este equipo de Gobierno”.

Constitutional process
