Un video revela cómo en una fábrica procesadora de langostinos los trabajadores realizan un procedimiento que ha generado el rechazo de muchos.

Se ha vuelto viral en la red un video que muestra cómo los funcionarios de una procesadora de langostinos en Vietnam le inyectan a estos crustáceos una sustancia gelatinosa para hacerles parecer más grandes.

Según ‘The Daily Mail’, la sustancia que se estaría utilizando para este fraude se le conoce como carboximetilcelulosa, similar a la celulosa y que se utiliza ocasionalmente en la industria de alimentos como producto de relleno o fibra dietética.

El compuesto gelatinoso es inyectado en la cola, el cuerpo y la cabeza del animal, consiguiendo aumentar el volumen del langostino y subir entre un 15 y 20% su peso.
