One of the most prevalent signs that you are an old soul is this; You never wish to be in a physical confrontation with anyone. Not because of fear but simply because you have experienced this many many times, the lesson has been learned. And you no longer believe in violence as a means for resolving anything.

Our time on earth is fleeting. It seems that one minute we are here and then gone. But what if we could come back, many times, and live a new life with new meaning. Well, reincarnation allows us to live as many lives necessary until we reach a certain level of enlightenment, at least that’s the basic idea. So, what if this is not the only time your feet have touched the earth? What if this life is your third, your fourth or even fifth visit? The idea puts a whole new spin on things, don’t you think.

To be made flesh again

The belief in reincarnation has been around for over 3,000 years. Both eastern and western cultures believe that none of us live only one life. Einstein himself said that energy never dies, and when our bodies die, our energy must live on! So energy, or our souls, must inhabit a new body and live a new life, whether human or animal. La desmesura

En 1854, un joven Antonio Cánovas del Castillo publicaba un libro titulado Historia de la decadencia de España. Con el tiempo, aquel joven llegó a primer ministro del país que consideraba en decadencia. Y en decadencia lo dejó al morir un año antes del mítico 98. Y en decadencia siguió. Y siguió incluso cuando, tras una cruel guerra civil, una dictadura pretendió devolverlo a la senda imperial, hundiéndolo aun más. Y en decadencia continuó; hasta hoy. La decadencia es sinónimo de España hace siglos. Explicaciones y propuestas de soluciones hay para dar y tomar. Pero una parece incuestionable por ser de carácter mercantil: una clase dominante tradicional, una oligarquía de elementos nobiliarios, militares, eclesiásticos consiguió destruir uno de los imperios mayores y más ricos del mundo por pura incompetencia. Hasta el punto de dejar a la metrópoli arruinada. El objetivo de estas desmesuras del Estado es buscar la violencia que los jueces necesitan para construir sus imputaciones de rebelión allí en donde no la hay. Si no la encuentran está dispuesto a sembrarla en provocaciones. 

El Estado necesita violentos y terroristas, aunque sean inventados, para justificar su cerrada actitud represiva.

Y con todo tanta desmesura es inútil. Las recetas del País Vasco no funcionan en Catalunya. El grado de compromiso de la población con un objetivo independentista es muy alto, como también lo es la relación entre el movimiento y sus diversos centros de dirección. Uno de ellos es precisamente la cárcel y el exilio. Algo nada infrecuente en el Estado español. Pero no hay cárceles suficientes para más de dos millones de personas.
