PP ordeal that started last week with the unexpected summons Rajoy as a witness before the Court of the Gürtel is endless. Since then, no day without shock to the ruling party. 

Because the arrest of  Ignacio González  and subsequent resignation of his valedora, Esperanza Aguirre , away from practice as a firewall to the current national leadership of the PP, is revealing unexpected twists. 

On this Wednesday: Genoa knew that Ignacio González account in Switzerland, but then did nothing to investigate.

PP deputy in the Madrid Assembly  Jesús Gómez  has admitted he denounced in 2014 " up to three times"  before Esperanza Aguirre, and then before national party leaders  Juan Carlos Vera and Carlos Floriano , the then regional president, Ignacio González , had an account in Switzerland. 

The PP noted, but no progress in the investigation, as confirmed by both Vera and Floriano.

Gomez  had information  "from two different sources and a third that confirmed".  And although I never had absolute confirmation that the identity of the account was real,  Gomez Aguirre came first. 

The then president of the Community of Madrid and PP gave no credence to the complaint. "Slanders and lies",  he settled, according to the mayor of Leganés.

Then I made aware of  Vera and Floriano,  leaders of the PP in the national Genoa apparatus, so that the verified.

El calvario que el PP arrancó la semana pasada con la inesperada citación de Rajoy como testigo ante el tribunal de la Gürtel no tiene fin. Desde entonces, no hay día sin sobresalto para el partido del Gobierno. 

Porque la detención de Ignacio González y la posterior dimisión de su valedora,Esperanza Aguirre, lejos de ejercer como cortafuegos para la actual dirección nacional del PP, está desvelando giros insospechados. 

El de este miércoles: que Génova conoció una cuenta de Ignacio González en Suiza, sin que después hiciera nada para investigarla.

El diputado del PP en la Asamblea de Madrid Jesús Gómez ha confesado que denunció en 2014 "hasta en tres ocasiones" ante Esperanza Aguirre, y después ante los dirigentes nacionales del partido Juan Carlos Vera y Carlos Floriano, que el entonces presidente regional, Ignacio González, tenía una cuenta en Suiza. 

El PP tomó nota, pero no avanzó en la investigación, como han corroborado tanto Vera como Floriano.

Gómez tuvo la información “de dos fuentes distintas y de una tercera que la confirmó”. Y aunque nunca tuvo la confirmación absoluta de que la identidad de esa cuenta fuera real, Gómez acudió primero a Aguirre. 

La entonces presidenta de la Comunidad y del PP madrileño no dio crédito a la denuncia. “Calumnias y mentiras”, zanjó, según el entonces alcalde de Leganés.

Después la puso en conocimiento de Vera y Floriano, dirigentes del PP en el aparato nacional de Génova, para que la verificaran. 

"No podía acreditar nada. Si hubiera tenido algo, que hubiera ido al fiscal", se ha justificado Vera."Parecía que venía con un ánimo de venganza contra los responsables regionales", ha asegurado Floriano. 

Gómez era alcalde de Leganés pero fue retirado por el PP que dirigían Aguirre y González como candidato en las elecciones de 2015. 

Si bien la reunión entre Floriano y Gómez se produjo el 24 de noviembre, meses antes de que estuvieran cerradas las listas electorales.

Floriano habló con González, le preguntó por la cuenta y éste lo negó todo. Fue cuanto hizo por intentar esclarecer la veracidad de la cuenta suiza. 

¿Por qué no acudió el PP a la Justicia? Responde el dirigente ‘popular’: “En todos estos procesos llega mucha información contradictoria que está movida por intereses personales. Hay que ser muy frío y tomar las decisiones sabiendo que no eres juez”.

Esas decisiones, según el dirigente ‘popular’, fueron dos:

1. Rajoy vetó la candidatura de González a la Comunidad de Madrid y hoy está en la cárcel.
2. Jesús Gómez acabó en la lista electoral que encabezó Cristina Cifuentes y hoy es diputado regional.

El PP da por bueno que el tiempo haya corregido el engaño de González.

In a conversation with Efe, Gómez has offered more details about the statements made by the newspaper El Mundo, which says Aguirre, then president of the PP in Madrid, convinced by Gonzalez, gave no credence to the rumor to consider, he said of "calumny and lies".

Gonzalez, also a former secretary general of the regional PP and right hand during years of Aguirre, was arrested on 19 and remains jailed preventively for alleged corruption in the management of the Canal de Isabel II.

Gómez explained that the information on the bank account González came "from two different sources and a third that confirmed" although, as expressed before Aguirre, Vera and Floriano, at no time had "conclusive evidence".

El diputado del PP en la Asamblea de Madrid Jesús Gómez denunció en 2014 “hasta en tres ocasiones” ante Esperanza Aguirre, y después ante los dirigentes nacionales del partido Juan Carlos Vera y Carlos Floriano, que el entonces presidente regional, Ignacio González, tenía una cuenta en Suiza.

En una conversación con Efe, Gómez ha ofrecido más detalles sobre las declaraciones que realizó al diario El Mundo, en las que asegura que Aguirre, entonces presidenta del PP de Madrid, convencida por González, no le dio crédito al rumor al considerarlas, según él, de “calumnias y mentiras”.

González, también ex secretario general del PP regional y mano derecha durante años de Aguirre, fue detenido el pasado día 19 y permanece encarcelado de manera preventiva por presuntos delitos de corrupción en la gestión del Canal de Isabel II.

Gómez ha explicado que la información sobre dicha cuenta bancaria de González le llegó “de dos fuentes distintas y de una tercera que la confirmó”, aunque, como lo expresó ante Aguirre, Vera y Floriano, en ningún momento tuvo “pruebas definitivas”.

Lo que sí expresó Gómez a sus interlocutores fue el deber de “investigar” en la medida de las posibilidades del partido para verificar si era cierto lo que decían sus fuentes.

El diputado del PP también ha dicho que la actual presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid y entonces Delegada del Gobierno, Cristina Cifuentes, supo “mucho después” esta información, hacia enero o febrero de 2015, cuando él se la contó en una ocasión en que ella asistió a una junta de seguridad local en Leganés.

Cifuentes, según Jesús Gómez, “dijo algo parecido a que ella no iba a asumir ningún pufo o chorizada y que si encontraba algún indicio cierto de irregularidades denunciaría”.

Acerca de la cercanía de Aguirre y González, Gómez asegura que quizás la ahora exdirigente del PP -que dimitió este lunes como portavoz en el Ayuntamiento de Madrid- “ni por un momento se preguntó si a lo mejor no era oro todo lo que relucía”.

Y agrega que “hasta cierto punto es comprensible porque González estuvo con ella desde 1983, en el Ayuntamiento, y luego prácticamente en todos los cargos que ella desempeñó, salvo cuando él fue secretario de Estado de Administraciones Públicas y delegado del Gobierno para la Inmigración”.

También expresa Gómez “firmemente” su certeza de que Aguirre no saldrá salpicada en el caso de Canal de Isable II, pues “los principales problemas están en ámbitos de gestión en los que ni ella ni el consejo de Gobierno tenían competencia”.

“Aguirre ha asumido responsabilidad política con dos dimisiones; ella es ejemplo de lo que se debe hacer cuando uno se equivoca”, asegura Gómez y añade que con el caso de Ignacio González “queda demostrado que no se puede poner la mano en el fuego absolutamente por nadie”.

En su opinión, “desde el punto de vista administrativo formal, González es una cabeza jurídica muy buena y probablemente uno de los mejores subsecretarios que ha pasado por la administración española”.

“Y lo que vemos ahora -dice- nos deja a todos los ojos como platos”.

Acerca de la presunta implicación de González en los delitos por los que ha sido detenido, Gómez expresa la “hipótesis” de que “quizás le sedujo el mundo del lujo y riqueza de la alta sociedad con la que no le quedaba más remedio que codearse en razón de su cargo y de su responsabilidad”.

“Eso le pasa a algunas personas, no es nada nuevo bajo el sol”, dice Jesús Gómez.

We are facing a Tangentopoli, before a  kleptocracy , before  a scandal that has just begun  and will leave little to other corrupt frames. It 's not just a gang of corrupt  who stole from the Government of Madrid. 

There are also  strong indications  that this band of corrupt  counted, until the last moment, with protection from the Government of Spain.

Interior Minister,  Juan Ignacio Zoido,  in his speech in the Senate on Tuesday to give explanations about his conversation with Secretary of State  Ignacio González  before his arrest, he said: 

"Do you think we are so stupid to pretend, if we destroy,  if we do some of the atrocities that you have said here today, we will do it at 9.30 at the time ... with a record in your office, or in any case we would try to hide them ,  as we did before .. ? ".
