       En una al·locució sense precedents, a la qual va pretendre donar un to de duresa, va manifestar que  "Espanya està vivint moments molt greus". Va acusar la  Generalitat  d'haver al qual -va dir-  "representen a Catalunya".

       Va afegir que es El resultat, ha assegurat, ha estat l'existència avui d'una "societat catalana està fracturada i enfrontada".

El jefe del Estado ha asegurado que es una situación de "extrema gravedad" a la que deben responder "los poderes legítimos del Estado". 

"Estamos viviendo momentos muy graves para nuestra vida democrática y, en estas circunstancias, quiero dirigirme a los españoles.

Todos hemos visto los movimientos de la Generalitat para que se proclame ilegalmente la independencia", ha iniciado el rey Felipe VI su mensaje a los españoles.

El jefe del Estado ha asegurado que el Gobierno catalán ha vulnerado "de forma sistemática" las normas, "demostrando una deslealtad inadmisible a los poderes del Estado, a los que representa en Cataluña".

"Han socavado la armonía y la convivencia en la sociedad catalana", ha afirmado.

"Esas autoridades se han situado al margen del derecho y la democracia, han intentado quebrar la unidad de España y la soberanía nacional.

Por todo ello y ante la situación de extrema gravedad, que requiere el compromiso de todos, es responsabilidad de los legítimos poderes del Estado asegurar el orden constitucional", ha añadido.

Además, Felipe VI se ha dirigido "al conjunto de los españoles" para transmitir "un mensaje de tranquilidad y de esperanza".

"Son momentos difíciles pero los superaremos y saldremos adelante", ha dicho el rey, que también ha tenido unas palabras concretas para los ciudadanos catalanes:

"No están solos ni lo estarán, tienen todo el apoyo del resto de los españoles".

Se trata del primer mensaje de Felipe VI a la nación fuera del tradicional discurso de Navidad. Además, no hay antecedentes de un mensaje parecido de la Corona desde que se produjo el golpe de Estado del 23-F.

Podemos no oculta su preocupación tras el mensaje de Felipe VI ante la crisis en Cataluña, ya que cree que el Rey ha perdido la oportunidad de ser parte de la solución y ha demostrado una “nula capacidad” para entender España al dirigirse sólo a una parte de los españoles y unir su destino al del PP.

Así lo destacan a Efe fuentes de la dirección de Podemos al valorar el discurso en el que Felipe VI ha subrayado la “deslealtad” de las autoridades independentistas y la “responsabilidad de los legítimos poderes del Estado” para “asegurar el orden constitucional”.

“El mensaje de Felipe VI nos ha dejado preocupados y sorprendidos. Hay muchos españoles que sentimos que la violencia de estos días tiene que cesar y Felipe VI no ha mostrado ni una sola vez preocupación por los heridos del domingo”, aseguran las mismas fuentes.

Desde Podemos recalcan que Felipe VI “ha perdido la oportunidad de ser parte de la solución, ha mostrado nula capacidad para entender España y solo se ha dirigido a una parte de los españoles”.

Critican además que el Rey haya tardado tres días en pronunciarse y que no haya dicho “nada diferente” a lo que ha dicho el PP.

El secretario general de Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, ha criticado hoy el mensaje en el que el Rey Felipe VI ha señalado la “deslealtad inadmisible” de las autoridades catalanas y le ha respondido: “No en nuestro nombre”.

“Como presidente de un grupo parlamentario que representa a más de 5 millones de españoles, le digo al Rey no votado: no en nuestro nombre”, ha escrito Iglesias en Twitter.

Con sus críticas han coincidido el resto de dirigentes de Podemos, entre ellos su portavoz en el Congreso, Irene Montero, quien señalaba en la misma red social: 

“El Rey no ha representado a los millones de personas que queremos diálogo. Se compromete con el PP pero no con España ni con la democracia”.
