Not long ago, pregnant celebrity Kat Von D created quite a buzz after sharing on Instagram that she plans to raise a “vegan child, without vaccinations,” also adding in the fact that she does not care to hear people’s unsolicited advice.
The tattoo artist and cosmetic-company founder also went on to say that, “if you don’t know what it’s like to have people around you think you are ridiculous, try being openly vegan… Try being an openly pregnant vegan on Instagram, having a natural, drug-free home birth in water with a midwife and a doula, who has the intention of raising a vegan child, without vaccinations.”
Clearly, she’s done her research and stands firm in her decision. What’s even braver is the fact that she, given who she is and the number of people around the world who follow her, decided to share this information publicly. It is a rare occurrence to share this type of information, especially because others have done the same which has resulted in the loss of their child via the state, and being a celebrity, in general, makes one shy away from sharing their thoughts on such controversial topics.
What’s really going on here? Why is it so controversial to share the idea that you want to raise your child without vaccinations, and without feeding them any animal products? Why is it deemed unsafe and unhealthy to do so, and why are parents like Kat constantly ridiculed when there is more than enough information showing that, really, there is nothing to ridicule?
Why have we as a society become so accustomed to the meal plan that’s established from the moment we are born by the big food corporations? What we’ve been told is nutritious for a child, and how a child should eat every single day is turning out not to be true.

The Research & Information That Shows How These Parents Are Far From Crazy
As you can imagine, these topics are full of information on both sides of the coin. The thing is, when the mainstream makes it seem like one is crazy or stupid for questioning something like vaccines, you know there is a problem. We could go into it deep with these two topics, and why I feel Kat is more than justified in her decision and that her baby is probably lucky to have a mother like her, but we (Collective Evolution) have provided this information time and time again in multiple articles. There is more than enough information, and more than enough sources in the articles below to show you why more and more parents are starting to make decisions like these, and that, despite all of the fear porn put out by the mainstream, as well as corporate medical America, people are starting to trust themselves, and their ability to discern information.
The funny thing is, when it comes to the opposite view we commonly see in the mainstream with these two topics, there are plenty of doctors, scientists, and more who are all creating awareness and publishing studies in this field to show you that it’s OK to be a vegan and to question vaccines. In fact, based on everything I’ve looked at, it would be crazy not to consider it if you care about your health!
